I do not care one jot for sprinklers
There are many dangers lurking outside the press box for an unwitting journalist. You could be tripped up in the queue for the sandwiches at half-time, or you could take a horrible misstep in Croke Park and be sent tumbling 40 feet from the Upper Hogan Stand.
Well, we can add sprinklers with a mind of their own to the ‘danger-list’ after the BBC’s Jonathan Pearce got caught in an unexpected rain shower before Arsenal’s game with Everton. It’s made all the funnier for the fact that Pearce was fixing his fine mop of hair when the unexpected downpour began.
We hope that Pearse did get a chance to get out of his rather wet suit after this before the game.
