VIDEO: Bayern Munich’s one touch passing is a joy to watch

What's German for tika-taka?

We imagine Pep Guardiola has a big grin on his face watching this absolutely class drill that shows the total and utter ‘tekkers’ of the current Munich squad

Bayern Munich are riding high in the Champions League and the Bundesliga and this video just shows how bloody talented and skillful the players at the club are.

They face CSKA Moscow in their final group game of the Champions League tonight and, before it, the players were practicing their one-touch football at training.

It’s a drill that could just as easily contain Barcelona players in their pomp under Guardiola from a few years ago and we make it an incredible 55 passes in just 33 seconds.

Players such as Franck Ribéry and Dante  keep the ball moving in a very tight space which, as anyone who plays five-a-side on a big massive field knows, is pretty darn impressive:

We think that could be Guardiola himself barking out the ‘eins-zwei-drei’ you can hear in the clip and clearly his German is very good if he can count all the way up beyond 50.

We’re looking forward to seeing plenty more of this tonight and over the coming months with Munich sure to be involved in the latter stages of the Champions League.
