The beard does nothing for him
Andy Townsend isn’t everyone’s cup of chai tea, but we  have an awful soft spot for the former Republic of Ireland man.
His analysis might be the far side of cat, but there is still something likeable about the ex-midfielder.
He lost his job with ITV earlier this year but in true bouncebackability style he’s landed on his feet again at BT.
But maybe the pay isn’t quite as good as it used to be as he’s been spotted in a pub trying to work out how to pour shots in the hours before today’s FA Cup final.
