On this occasion it was a linesman who felt the full force of the Juventus striker who held nothing back as he tried to keep the ball in play from a wayward Juanfran pass.

The “challenge” took place in the opening minutes of Spain’s Group D opener against the Czech Republic and, to be fair to the official, he jumped straight back up to his feet.
If the tackle had been on a Czech player, though, Morata may well have been lucky not to see red.
As for the linesman, well, we expect a few close offside decisions to go against the Morata this afternoon.
