The mixed messages surrounding Liverpool continue, and despite boss Brendan Rodgers insisting their will be no big moves by the club this month, the Reds are still being associated with a host of new additions at every position. The club were heavily linked with Swiss World Cup star Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer and with Bayern Munich now set to accept a reduced fee of around £12million the winger is back on the Anfield radar. The 26-year-old New Zealand defender has shown no interest in extending his contract beyond this summer, and Allardyce believes Reid has broken the rules by already arranging a move to a bigger Premier League club.
