The new FIFA 17 super deluxe edition will cost you a lot of money

Best start saving your pocket money folks.

Why have cotton when you can have silk?

That was the famous slogan on the classic 90s Galaxy chocolate advert.

But the same applies to anything – if you’re going to shell out the money, why not go the whole hog and splash out on the Rolls Royce version?

Fans rubbing their hands about the release of the new FIFA 17 game thinking about getting the all-singing, all-dancing version of the famous footy game might think twice though.

Set to be released in the UK at the end of September, it will cost you a pretty penny.

The Ultimate FIFA package, which can now be pre-ordered ready for September on the Playstation Store, looks set to costs fans of the game up to €100, according to the Daily Star.

That’s more than the standard game. However, it’s brilliant for fans who love to play their friends online and there’s a load of extra online content that will be dropping over five months after the release date.

Shops are expected to start selling the game on September 29 complete with updated squads and kits – but it will go on sale in the US two days earlier.

The super deluxe version includes  the full game, 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, three match FUT Team of the Week loan players (up to two players per week over 20 weeks) and eight match FUT loan item of Hazard, Martial, Reus, or Rodriguez.

James Rodriguez, Anthony Martial, Eden Hazard and Marco Reus grace the cover of FIFA 17 and they are all available to loan in the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) game mode for those who pre-order the game.

The game’s debut will be streamed live on Sunday at 9pm, but for now we’ll just have to make do with this first teaser trailer to see what the new FIFA 17 will be like.
