We thought we had it right when we were remembering 25 years ago by trying to imagine the Twitter storms each of Ireland’s games would’ve caused back in that glorious World Cup.
But all we had to do was look at the bottom of the bottle bin – or in our grannies’ houses.
We’ve been taken a trip down memory lane thanks to Cormac Ahern with this priceless piece of nostalgia that could probably be sold on Ebay now for at least a double figure sum.
The milk bottles of 1990 that paid perfect homage to Jackie’s Army – with the Ireland World Cup squad imprinted on the glass and into a life of immortality.
