We reported recently on the rumours surrounding the next move for the in-demand Troy Parrott.
The Ireland striker has 30 goals this season for AZ Alkmaar, while also chipping in with talismanic performances for his country during their World Cup qualifying campaign.
His form has garnered interest from the Bundesliga, Serie A and Premier League, and a move to the Championship is also on the cards, if his old club Spurs are relegated.
However, speaking with SportsJOE, former Ireland striker Shane Long reckons that he is too good to go along with a move to the second tier of English football.
He said: "He's a well-rounded football, he works hard."
