Dennis Taylor risks Roy Keane wrath after Fergie quip at Snooker World Championships

Now that is a theatrical production we would gladly pay a week’s wage to see.

Ireland’s assistant manager is in Sheffield, today, to take in the World Snooker Championship final between Shuan ‘Iron Man’ Murphy and Stuart ‘Bingsy’ Bingham.

The BBC cameras zeroed in on the former Manchester United midfielder and, upon spotting him with an earpiece that allows him to pick up live television commentary, had a bit of jest at his expense.

Dennis Taylor, who played a frame of snooker with Alex Ferguson [Keane’s former boss], earlier in the championship, suggested Keane was no match for the man he know calls ‘Ferguson’.

It drew a smirk from Keane, followed by this look:
