Romelu Lukaku scores again after great pass from Alexis Sanchez

Romelu Lukaku scored his fifth goal in his last eight matches on Saturday when he bagged United’s second after Juan Mata opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

Mata was brought down by Reading defender Omar Richards in the 22nd minute and proceeded to convert his own penalty before Lukaku then doubled the hosts advantage with a brilliantly taken goal after a great pass from Alexis Sanchez.

Lukaku said that life at Old Trafford is totally different under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the Belgian and fellow striker Marcus Rashford both enjoying purple patches at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho’s departure from the club last month.

“It’s totally different. Marcus and I and Anthony (Martial) and all the rest are learning a lot from him, especially on the offensive side,” Lukaku said after the recent win over Newcastle United.

“You have to be ready, that’s what the manager asked me before the game. I just tried to help the team. I’m really delighted that we have won again and we just have to keep going.”
