German world cup winner Kevin Grosskreutz is grabbing the headlines in his home country today after he was accused of kicking a woman in the stomach.

Bild are reporting that the Galatasaray midfielder is said to have assaulted a woman after she got involved in an altercation with the footballer’s mother Pia Grosskreutz.

According to the report, things began to heat up when Pia accused the other woman of  flirting with her husband. Kevin is alleged to have sprinted towards his mother’s adversary during the argument and delivered a kung-fu kick straight to the woman’s abdomen.

The incident has been reported to German police, while Kevin Grosskreutz is denying all the charges.

Kevin has been in the German papers for all the wrong reasons in the past. He hit the headlines after it was reported that he drunkenly urinated in a hotel lobby in Berlin and for a separate incident where he was alleged to have thrown an extra spicy kebab at a Cologne fan.

He signed for Galatasary from Borussia Dortmund in september, but because the signed documentations were not submitted on by the Turkish outfit on time, he will not be available for any matches until January 2016.
