Mohamed Salah definitely accomplished what he was hoping to earlier this week.
Several theories did the rounds when Salah deleted his social media accounts on Tuesday night, hours after posting a cryptic message on his Twitter.
“2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real,” Salah wrote before his accounts disappeared.
The move sparked wild speculation from supporters, with some suggesting that the Liverpool forward was looking to reach out to the Egyptian FA in the hope of resolving their ongoing dispute.
Others believed that Salah had grown tired of the accusations of diving in recent weeks and was simply trying to ignore the critics in order to focus on his football for the coming months.

But eyebrows were raised on Thursday, when DHL Express Egypt published a promotional video on their social media platforms with the caption: “We’ve reached Mo Salah and we can connect you to him.”
24 hours later, Salah reappeared on social media with an image of him smiling while opening a box with the DHL logo on the side.

What’s clearly happened here is that Salah was encouraged to get the world talking by deleting his social media accounts only to return with a promotional push for DHL.
We were all had. Well played, Mo!
