We don’t know why, but Cillian Sheridan’s APOEL shirt tried to murder him on Wednesday.
The Cavan native posted an interesting series of photos on his Instagram account which showed a chargrilled version of his jersey.
Sheridan didn’t release any details of how the kit caught on fire, although he did reveal his shoes were also ablaze at one point.
He captioned the pics, “Just another game in Cyprsu”, so apparently, spontaneously self-combusting football kits are the norm in the Cypriot leagues.
