Despite his constant hounding and pleading to get into the side, there’s just simply no room for Mario Balotelli at Cabinteely FC.
The SSE Airtricity League first division outfit have a chance to lift themselves off the foot of the table when they take on Athlone Town on Friday.
One would think they would take all the help they could get in order to claim victory over the midlands club. However, some help just simply isn’t required.
For example, they have made it clear that they do not want Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli anywhere near their team, given his woeful form this season. The club have drawn up a magnificent graph comparing the Italian’s season stats to their attacking players to show, to show that they simply don’t need him.
If he can’t do it on a windy night in Stoke, how’s he expected to make an impact on an even windier night in Westmeath?
