PIC: Jordan Henderson’s boosting his tough guy image by sparring with Amir Khan

Liverpool man taking battle for fourth place literally

Watch out Diego Costa

If you were to think of the some the hardest players in the Premier League right now it’s unlikely that Jordan Henderson would be top of the list. The England man looks a little bit too clean cut to be one of those guys who would terrify old ladies and scare the bejayus out of his opponents.

However ever since his run in with Diego Costa when he gave the striker a ‘death stare,’ people tend to be look at the Liverpool man a little bit differently.  Now it seems he really is taking this bad boy persona to heart by linking up with boxing champion Amir Khan.

The two met up earlier this week and Henderson did some sparring with the British boxer, while he repaid the favour by inviting the Bolton man to Melwood for a kickabout.

Maybe he taught him the Henderson hop as well while he was at it.

Khan thanked the 24-year-old on twitter afterwards. This could be the start of a beautiful bromance.
