We’re all aware of the insane amounts of pressure on managers at the highest level.
And the stress all got too much for Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti who had to have himself a ciggy in the early stages of his side’s 4-1 victory over Espanyol this evening.
Ancelotti knew that Real needed a win, as well as a favour from their city rivals Atletico Madrid against Barcelona, to have any hope of taking home the La Liga title next week.
And with all that strain he thought “screw it, I’m having one” and was filmed sparking up.
We’re a little surprised that he didn’t have a cigar and a whiskey but perhaps that would have been a little too conspicuous.
The cheeky fag might have done his nerves some good but it didn’t affect the league table as Atletico fell to Barcelona, sealing the league title for Leo Messi and Co.
