Paul Pogba considering move to Paris Saint-Germain

He is reportedly good friends with Neymar

His return to United hasn’t quite gone to plan.

Paul Pogba is interested in a move to Paris-Saint Germain, according to Paris United.

The media outlet broke the transfer stories of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé joining PSG last summer, and now report that the Manchester United midfielder is open to a move to the French capital.

Pogba is said to be good friends with Neymar and given the power Neymar holds within the club when it comes to persuading the board to accommodate his wishes, it wouldn’t be a shock to see PSG make an attempt to sign Pogba this summer.

Pogba’s return to United has not gone completely to plan. While he has come up with flashes of brilliance, José Mourinho has struggled to fit him into his preferred 4-2-3-1 system.

Last weekend, Pogba led the charge as United came back from 2-0 down against champions-elect Manchester City and won 3-2, scoring two goals in quick succession.

At PSG, Pogba would likely be able to play in his preferred position, on the left of a midfield three, which grants him more freedom to make marauding runs forward with and without the ball.

United are reportedly eyeing Sergej Milinković-Savić of Lazio as a potential replacement for Pogba, should he depart for Paris.
