Pogba’s four-word response to reporters after West Ham game spoke volumes

Remember when Jose Mourinho said there was "no problem" with Paul Pogba?

After stripping Pogba of Manchester United's vice-captaincy last week, Mourinho insisted that there had been no falling-out with the club's record signing. The days that followed were very telling, however, as the United manager was filmed exchanging words with Pogba in training at Carrington. Mourinho admitted that he was relieved that media only got limited access to what goes on behind closed doors. "When you say (it’s) disruptive or you got on camera me speaking with Paul I am happy that you don’t come here more times because you would get much more than that," Mourinho told Standard Sport on Friday. https://twitter.com/utdxtra/status/1044935224688340994 "I can promise you, much more than that. Much louder much more aggressive. Words with a completely different dimension, you would get a lot. "So I’m really happy that the rules are 15 minutes (a month)." Pogba was substituted with 20 minutes to go in United's defeat to West Ham on Saturday and he cut a frustrated figure on the bench. Mourinho answered very few questions at his post-match press conference and refused to comment on his relationship with the French midfielder. Pogba was similarly discreet as he left the London Stadium but he did say something interesting when asked for a word from reporters. "You want me dead?" Pogba said, suggesting that he couldn't give his honest opinion without facing serious repercussions. Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona in January and his agent, Mino Raiola, is expected to hold talks with United next month in an attempt to orchestrate an exit for his client.
