It’s going to be strange seeing Arsene Wenger in a dugout that’s not Arsenal’s.

Wenger has only a handful of games left as Arsenal boss, after announcing last week that his 22-year association with the club would come to an end in the summer.

But despite his shortcomings in his final few seasons at the Emirates helm, there are plenty of clubs eager to avail of Wenger’s experience.

The Frenchman has been linked with a role at Paris Saint-Germain which would involve a working relationship with the Ligue 1 side’s top managerial target, Thomas Tuchel.

But if financial rewards are what interests Wenger, he could take up an offer in China which would see him become the world’s best-paid manager.

According to the Mirror, an offer worth in excess of £24 million-a-year is on the table from an unnamed club in the Chinese Super League.

The report claims that, should he accept the deal, Wenger would take home more than the annual salary of Marcello Lippi, the manager of China’s national team.

Pep Guardiola is currently the highest-paid manager in the Premier League and earns £16 million every year at Manchester City.

It’s understood that Wenger would prefer an opportunity in Europe, however, and feels like he has plenty left to offer.
