Noussair Mazraoui has successfully undergone a minor corrective procedure after experiencing palpitations.
The Manchester United defender signed from Bayern Munich in the summer and has since gained plaudits for his impressive performances in a Red Devils shirt.
Despite the poor start to the campaign, Mazraoui has been one of the standout stars, quickly becoming popular.
So far this season, he has featured in ten games for Erik ten Hag's men as he looks to become a mainstay in the side.
And following reports, Fabrizio Romano has today confirmed the news that the player has "undergone a minor precautionary corrective procedure after experiencing palpitations."
It is understood that it is a relatively common condition, with the player expected to make a full recovery and to be available for selection in the upcoming weeks.
