Spanish duo David de Gea and Juan Mata could be on their way out of Manchester United

Juan Mata‘s winning goal against Crystal Palace on Saturday has seemingly done nothing to put him over with Louis van Gaal as Manchester United are still willing to let the Spaniard leave for a fee of around €25m with Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Valencia all monitoring proceedings. (Daily Express)

Juan Mata’s best bud David de Gea could also be set for the exit door at Old Trafford. According to The Independent, the signing of Victor Valdes will be as a replacement for de Gea rather than an understudy. Real Madrid are very keen on the young keeper. With Juan Mata and de Gea on the way out, Ander Herrera won’t know where to turn. Bromance OVER!

Southampton midfield maestro Morgan Schneiderlin has put some “big clubs” on high alert after he has reiterated his desire to play in the Champions League. Arsenal look the keenest on the Saints playmaker who, in an interview with the France Football Federation’s website, said: “We’ll see at the end of the season if [a transfer] will happen. If we have qualified for the Champions League, I will make the choice.” If Champions League is a priority then Liverpool may as well not bother even enquiring. (Daily Mirror)
