This is a must watch for Liverpool fans.

There is a documentary on television about Mohamed Salah tonight (Tuesday, May 22). “Mo Salah: a Football Fairy Tale” will chart the Egyptian forward’s rise from his humble beginnings at El Mokawloon to becoming a superstar at Liverpool.

Salah’s journey had some bumps along the way. He excelled at FC Basle in Switzerland before securing a big move to Chelsea in 2014. However, he was rarely used by manager Jose Mourinho and rebuilt his career in Italy with Fiorentina and Roma. His first season back in the Premier League went better than anyone could have expected.

Salah has scored 44 goals in 51 games for Liverpool and broke the record for the most goals in a 38 Premier League season when he scored his 32nd league goal of the campaign against Brighton. He will be essential to Jurgen Klopp’s side in Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev.

The documentary will air at 10 pm on Channel 4 on Tuesday night. Steven Gerrard and Gary Lineker are among those who will take part in the film.
