Alex Revell isn’t known for his handling, though in fairness that’s because he’s not a goalkeeper.
Still, that didn’t stop the MK Dons striker saving a penalty from Preston frontman Joe Garner to give his team a Championship lifeline.
Dons keeper Cody Cropper brought down Eoin Doyle (who ironically spent a short period as Revell’s strike partner at Cardiff) in the area and was shown a red card.
With the strugglers having already used their three substitutes, Revell donned the gloves and perhaps showed what his true calling should have been.
The visitors held on for a 1-1 draw, keeping their slim survival hopes alive.

As many fans will no doubt tell you, the ball will rarely find its way into the net when he’s on the pitch.
