Marouane Fellaini in negotiations to make long-term move to AC Milan

Manchester United are still in the race.

In a move that it’s hard not to have a lot of time for, it looks like Marouane Fellaini could be about to bag himself a long-term contract at AC Milan.

The 30-year-old midfielder’s contract is up with the Red Devils at the end of the season, and although Jose Mourinho is keen to keep hold of him, the player has so far rejected three contract offers.

Fellaini is reportedly after a three year deal on more money at United, but they have so far only offered him one-year extensions.

It’s believed that as part of the standoff the Belgian has moved out his belongings from his Cheshire home, despite having spent almost five years at United after joining from Everton in 2013 for £27.5million.

Milan finished sixth in Serie A this season, 31 points behind winners Juventus, and apparently, the big man is one of the men the seven-time Champions League winners reckon can help turn things around.
