Marco Reus is a wonderful footballer and it’s no mediocre surprise that he’s much sought-after by Premier League giants. And Liverpool.
But now that he has revealed his favourite player ever, Arsenal fans think that they have a jump on their domestic rivals for the signature of the Borussia Dortmund star.
Rather than go with Messi or Ronaldo or Roy Keane – all the usuals – or even a fellow countryman, Reus went for a Czech legend who was at Dortmund during his time with the youth squads.

But, with Liverpool and United thinking that they were in pole position to bring Reus to England, Gunners supporters now have it in their heads that the German’s 35-year-old hero playing at the Emirates will persuade him otherwise.
