Manchester United striker set for return to club as Real Madrid reject permanent deal

Javier Hernandez on the move again

Will he be sticking around this time

A few days after Old Trafford bid farewell to Falcao it seems that another club striker is set to return to sunny Manchester  this summer.

Javier Hernandez was a firm favourite under Alex Ferguson and David Moyes, but once Louis van Gaal came in last season he was out of luck and shipped off to Real Madrid.

There are worse places to end up we suppose and the Mexican did quite well at the club as back up to the multiple Galacticos in La Liga, scoring nine times in 33 appearances

But this evening it seems the striker will be back in England at least for a while.

The BBC are reporting that Madrid were not interested in buying the player, and so his time in Spain is over and he will be returning to England shortly.

Hernandez would be seen as valuable back-up to Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie by most fans, but it remains to be seen if he will be kept as that option from the bench or sold this summer by LvG.
