‘May you live in interesting times’ is believed to be an old Chinese curse.

And for Manchester United and Leicester City fans, things could not get much more strange as the Foxes are top of the Premier League table, while life at Old Trafford has never been as tumultuous.

Normally if Louis van Gaal wanted a player, the star power of life in Manchester, playing with one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world, would be a natural draw for any footballer.

But according to reports today, the club could be about to miss out on a Nigerian striker to the current Premier League leaders Leicester City.

The Express are reporting that 23-year-old CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa is looking to move to England and Claudio Ranieri’s side look to be in pole position to sign him, despite late interest from Louis van Gaal’s outfit.

The Foxes are believed to have have a bid of around €20million rejected already and with interest from another Premier League club likely to drive his price even higher, a bidding war between the two Premier League rivals may ensue.

We haven’t had a good bidding war in ages.
