One of Liverpool's current longest serving players will reportedly inform the next manager he considers his 'tenure complete' as per new reports.
Following a decision to part ways with title-winning Arne Slot, Liverpool are since set to open talks with former Bournemouth gaffer Andoni Iraola.
Iraola has set records on the South Coast. Last campaign, he achieved the Cherries' record amount of points, before beating it once more this season as Bournemouth surged to an impressive 6th-placed finish.
Though, he will have some tough decisions to make if one of the club's current legends decides to call time on his stint at Anfield.
Last month, Alisson was linked with a move to Juventus, with his entourage reportedly approaching Liverpool to release him a year early before his contract expiry in 2027.
However, after losing the likes of Mo Salah, Andy Robertson and soon Ibrahima Konate on free transfers, the club are understood to be reluctant to let their keeper go as well.
Despite this, a new report from Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Brazilian will push to join the Serie A side.
So much so, an agreement in principle between Alisson and Juventus has already been reached, which is believed to be a three-year contract in the region between €4 and €5 million plus bonuses.
Alisson will reportedly inform the next manager of his decision, with the report adding: "Iraola will decide whether to confirm the goalkeeper's non-transferability or permanently launch Giorgi Mamardashvili, acquired last summer for around thirty million, as a starter for the future.
"Juve is waiting, at least until the start of the World Cup. And since yesterday, he has some more hope."
