David Luiz is back, and he must be delighted Luis Suarez no longer plays for Liverpool.
However, the defender, making his first start for Chelsea since returning to the club from Paris Saint-Germain for £34m, will have to cope with a Liverpool attack that have scored more goals than any other Premier League side in the current calendar year.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have scored 50 goals in 2016, but have also gone eight away games without keeping a clean sheet, so there should be goals in the second Friday night fixture of the season.
Chelsea have made one change to their team from the 2-2 draw against Swansea City last week for the game at Stamford Bridge, with Luiz coming in for John Terry.

Liverpool have been forced to bring Philippe Coutinho in for Roberto Firmino from the team that beat Leicester City 4-1 last Saturday. Firmino misses the match with a minor groin strain, while Dejan Lovren replaces Lucas.
