Leaked: Images surface of Liverpool’s third kit for next season

Jack O'Toole

Images have surfaced of Liverpool’s supposed third kit for next season with the club apparently opting for a dark black with a light blue trim.

This year’s away kit paid homage to the strip worn by the club’s 1977 European Cup-winning side under Bob Paisley and the third kit apparently also features Paisley’s signature on the inside of the neck and an official swing tag dedicated to the legendary manager in the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth.

Following Liverpool’s sixth European Cup triumph in Madrid last season, fans now have the option to add three official Champions League patches to both sleeves, in the form of the 2019 trophy, six times winners, and respect patches.

The launch of the away kit also sees four new additions to the away training kit range, which features the branding of the club’s official training kit partner, AXA – including a pre-game jersey, polo, long sleeve T-shirt and a pre-game jacket, which have been designed in the away kit colourway.
