Kylian Mbappé is set to get a 900% pay rise
Do you think you should be paid a bit more at work? How about a 900% pay rise?
Ok, so to be offered that, it would help to be the most in-demand teenager in world football. Monaco’s Kylian Mbappé has been linked to the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool, but the Ligue 1 club are desperate to hang on to the striker. So desperate, it seems, that they are going to give him the pay rise to end all pay rises.
French newspaper Journal du Dimanche reports that Monaco have offered him a new deal that would see him get €162,000 a week. Mbappé is currently ‘only’ €18,000 a week, making it a 900% increase.
