Ireland's Katie McCabe was sent off today as Arsenal slumped to a 1-0 Super League defeat to leaders Chelsea.
Her side now sit in third place, ten points off their London rivals.
Late in the game, Chelsea's Lauren James was taken down in the box by Arsenal captain Kim Little, after which McCabe appeared to be shown two yellow cards for dissent.
The Ireland captain was enraged and kicked the tunnel on her way off the pitch, before Guro Reiten converted the penalty.
After the game, Arsenal boss Slegers said: "It's those small details. You know what Chelsea's strengths are. Every little chance they get, they will take," said Arsenal manager Slegers afterwards.
"That is their biggest strength as a team so you have to be on your toes the whole game and be concentrated.
"If I could play the game again today, I would want to, as I think we are good enough to do more against Chelsea. We could have been more clinical."
