Jose Mourinho takes a dig at the FA in post-match interview

He enjoyed that one

You know it’s been a good night for Manchester United when Jose Mourinho almost keels over in laughter in his post-match interview.

Wednesday didn’t start in the best way for Mourinho as the Football Association appealed against the decision to clear the United manager of using unacceptable language after last month’s win over Newcastle.

Mourinho had initially been cleared of the charge after arguing his case with the use of his own language expert but the FA ultimately decided that Mourinho’s comments, made in Portuguese, were not acceptable.

The Red Devils boss was in similarly fiery form after Wednesday night’s dramatic victory over Juventus in the Champions League and taunted the home fans after his side came from behind to score a crucial winner in stoppage time.

When it was put to him that his gesture and comments towards the supporters at the Allianz Stadium may not have been wise to make, Mourinho came out with a hilarious response.

One reporter said: “The way you went out and celebrated the Juventus players were obviously very upset.”

Mourinho responded by asking her if she understood Italian and when the journalist revealed that she didn’t, Mourinho advised her to “ask the FA, they will translate for you.”

Zing!
