Here’s a tip for you Wayne Rooney, if you’re planning on talking smack about Jon Walters, be prepared for the repercussions.
Speaking to the media before England’s Euro 2016 clash against Wales on Thursday, the Manchester United striker had this to say regarding Walters’ on-field behaviour:
“In all the games I’ve played over the years in the Premier League, there’s not been much, probably Craig Bellamy the only one. Jon Walters a bit. They are the only two who try to speak to players and try to intimidate players.”
Walters has since fired back at Rooney with undoubtedly the tweet of the tournament so far.

For those of you who are wondering what the hell is going on, Walters is having a wee pop at Rooney’s strange-looking head.
Rooney’s noticeably wrinkle-free forehead has raised suspicions among fans that the England star may have had some cosmetic work done recently.
Either way, we can all agree, this a golden response from Walters.
