As bad weeks go, Joleon Lescott’s has been fairly rotten so far.
Hammered by Liverpool on Sunday, his pocket then goes and tweets a picture of a flash car on his phone in the aftermath of the 0-6 hammering at Villa Park.
After getting a deserved lambasting on social media, the former England defender apologised and we thought everyone could move on.
But some fans, or Lescott, could not let it go and last night it appears if he was involved in some fairly heated arguments with various Villa fans on his Instagram account as detailed by the @TheVillaZone twitter account.
We do only have one side of the story here, and of course Lescott deleted his replies, but its seems that at least one post he invited a Villa fan down to the club’s training ground for a face to face, and we doubt he means over tea.
Another message is aimed at Stan Collymore who was fairly vocal after Sunday’s home thumping.
Lescott also asked why he even responded to the abuse on Sunday and came up with an actually intelligent response.
