A massive game!
Ireland take on Hungary at the Aviva Stadium in the first match of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers this evening, Saturday, September 6 (kick-off, 7.45pm).
The Boys in Green still have Armenia and Portugal to come, but tonight’s match is probably the most important of the lot, against their closest rivals for qualification.
A win will put them well on their way to North America next summer, but a loss might crush their dreams before they even began.
