Manchester bound?

Many fans will feel for Manchester United to win the Premier League they’ll need to make one more signing.

After the additions of Victor Lindelöf and Romelu Lukaku, Jose Mourinho’s side is shaping up nicely but there has been speculation surrounding the signing of Ivan Perisic all summer.

The Inter Milan player has been linked with the club over the past few months but nothing has yet to materialise.

However, Inter’s head coach Luciano Spalletti, was speaking about a possible move and didn’t do much to ease the nerves of his fans.

As per ESPN, Spalletti told reporters after a pre-season game in Singapore:

“Our intention is to keep Perisic if possible. I have known him for a long time and you don’t need me to tell you that he’s a world-class player.

“Whether he played well tonight or not isn’t important. We want to keep him, but a lot of considerations have to be made. I can’t say for sure if he is going to stay or not.”

Now, if that isn’t the sound of a man uncertain of a player’s future we don’t know what is.
