Inadvisable Liverpool City Council tweet somehow not deleted

Ouch

Kyle Picknell

Liverpool

Googles “How to delete somebody else’s tweet?” etc etc.

Things continue to go from bad to worse for at least one half of the city of Liverpool, despite Jurgen Klopp continuing to be extremely Jurgen Klopp, even in the face of a heartbreaking defeat.

One tweet from Liverpool City Council’s official twitter account keeps resurfacing, however, as other fans continue to twist the knife into Liverpool’s hopes and dreams.

The tweet is about their victory parade.

A victory parade they extended by 1.5 miles, just because, you know. All that victory. All that sweet, sweet, potential victory.

A victory parade for which they were preemptively advising fans:

  • Use the full length of the route. The open top bus won’t be stopping so take advantage of the full length of the route from the bottom Parliament Street, all the way to Green Lane.
  • Decide which part of the route you want to wait at and arrive in plenty of time.
  • Be patient – it is impossible to predict how long it will take the team bus to travel along the route.
  • Due to the number of people coming in to and out of the city, there will be significant demands on public transport, with queuing likely.

Yeah. Laughing at other fans after such a devastating loss is never funny, but actually, it is a bit funny. Scratch that, it is actually just really, really funny. It is hilarious. Please never stop.

Liverpool supporters, your time will come, maybe even next season. Until then, I’d try and avoid the internet and some of the following absolute savages showing no regard for human life:
