Iago Aspas shows Liverpool what they’re missing with four-minute hat-trick

Brendan get on the phone quick

If Mario Balotelli gets a ban for his rather stupid Instagram post from earlier this week then Brendan Rodgers may have to start looking at recalling on-fire Iago Aspas.

OK, so he was a total flop at Anfield last season after a £7 million pound switch as he scored one goal before being shipped back to Spain in the summer.

But tonight he scored a hat-trick inside four second half minutes to help Sevilla to a 6-1 win over Sabadell in the Copa Del Rey.

The Spaniard, who is on a season-long loan deal away from Anfield, scored in the 59th, 60th and 62nd minutes in the aggregate 11-2 win.

The last is an absolute peach so we think instead of Divock Origi being recalled from loan in January, Brendan Rodgers should give the 27 year old a bell:

Although most Liverpool fans will remember him for THAT  corner during last season’s pivotal loss to Chelsea:
