Hector Moreno apologises for leg-breaking tackle on Luke Shaw

He's been there himself

Hector Moreno knows exactly how Luke Shaw is feeling this evening.

The Mexican defender was involved in tonight’s incident that has seen Luke Shaw’s season surely cut-short, after he suffered a double-leg fracture after 14 minutes of tonight’s Champions League clash with PSV.

Strangely Moreno himself knows what it is like to have broken a leg after suffering a horrific fracture during last year’s World Cup, when he was on duty for Mexico during the clash with the Netherlands.

The defender  spoke to reporters after tonight’s game in Holland and has apologised for hurting Shaw

“I feel really sorry. I hope its not very serious. I had it in the World Cup, I know how it feels. I never meant to hurt him. I wish him all the best. I feel for him”
