17-year-old hot prospect Ryan Ledson turned some heads when he togged out for the England u-18s yesterday. The young Everton player stepped up to take a long range free kick for the Three Lions against the poles.
He took a few steps back, ran up and absolutely belted it. As the ball came closer to the goal, it developed a killer swerve that duped the goalkeeper. The goalie’s best efforts could not stop the ball from sailing into the back of the net by the narrowest of margins.
A fantastic 50-yard goal but, I mean, it was definitely meant as a cross, right?
