One way to avoid the incessant stream of questions aimed at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about becoming permanent Manchester United manager is to just confirm it now.

The fact that Solskjaer refuses to get carried away with the fanfare only serves to endear him more to his adoring fans and the Norwegian is fully aware of the fact that football management is a fickle game. All it takes is a few bad results for everything to change and Solskjaer is just determined to keep taking every game as it comes and allow his beloved club to arrive at its own decision.
