Football fan comes through on unfortunate tattoo wager after Leicester win the league

Tom Victor

While few expected Leicester City to win the Premier League, there weren’t many as confident as Devan Slater that they wouldn’t achieve the feat.

Or even come close.

Back on January 9th, with Claudio Ranieri’s team sitting second in the league after three games without a win, Slater was supremely confident that the Foxes would be unable to sustain the form that had kept them in the top three since Halloween.

He predicted them to fall out of the top four, and was willing to put his body on the line for the sake of the prediction.

While some might have deleted their original tweet as Leicester’s title charge intensified, Slater wasn’t going to back out.

After watching Wes Morgan lift the Premier League trophy, he went to a tattoo artist armed with a design, and a camera to document the act.

Does he regret the decision? Well…

Some might use Slater’s wager to make a philosophical point about those who chat shit inevitably getting banged, but we’re not going to rise to it.

Instead we’ll just reiterate that the man has a WKD bottle tattooed on his arse cheek, because something like that doesn’t really need any further embellishment.
