"It's not the Greeks, it's the Chinese he's after."
We're glad that the FA found Dave Whelan wasn't racist because we weren't able to devote ourselves full time. The farm takes up most of the day and, at night, we just like a cup of tea.
The Wigan owner was still punished though for comments he made in the media that saw him charged with aggravated breach of conduct. Today, Whelan was hit with a six-week ban from all football activity and a £50,000 fine.
And, in a statement, the FA Commission said:
"We are satisfied on the evidence before us that Mr Whelan is not a racist.
"We are equally satisfied on the evidence before us that Mr Whelan did not intend to cause any offence by his comments."
But it added that they had to "view the comments objectively and Mr Whelan's subjective intentions were irrelevant as far the ruling was concerned".

We couldn't help ourselves. Word can quickly spread so we're hoping Dave can go about proving his innocence.
