Everton Football Club epitomise pure class with unbelievable gesture to young Sunderland fan

It was a good day for Bradley Lowery on Monday. The five-year-old is battling with cancer but, for 90 minutes at least, he could just be a football fan. The Sunderland supporter was mascot for his side during the defeat to Everton at the Stadium of Light and he got to meet some heroes of the sporting world. A touching moment with Irish captain Seamus Coleman was captured by photographers. And this is just beautiful. But, whilst Ronald Koeman's steamrolling Toffees might've made it a tough day for Mackem supporters in footballing terms with a 3-0 dismantling of David Moyes' side, Everton never lost their class. After the game, the club pledged an astounding £200,000 to Bradley Lowery's fight against cancer. The youngster is aiming to raise 700k for treatment in the USA and, thanks to Everton, this was the state of the fundraising early on Tuesday morning.
