England fans are bricking it after Harry Kane comes off with serious looking injury
Erik Lamela came on the replace Kane against Bournemouth.
Tottenham fans are currently holding their collective breaths after Harry Kane was taken off injured during Spurs’ tie against Bournemouth, following a collision with Cherries keeper Asmir Begovic. The striker limped down the tunnel on 34 minutes, to be replaced by Erik Lamela.
Sky Sports confirmed at half time that it was Kane’s right ankle that was injured – which is particularly worrying as he previously previously missed four weeks of action after injuring the same ankle in March 2017.
We don’t know any more than that, but that hasn’t stopped England fans suddenly start panicking about if it might keep him out of the World Cup.
Me, three hours ago at a family lunch: England will win the World Cup.

Never nice seeing a top player injured but if that's serious for Harry Kane, Top 4 is ours and England won't get out their group at the World Cup.

Harry Kane suffers ankle ligament damage. Not a good sign before the world cup. Even if he's fit, will he be match fit? Maybe not. #COYS pic.twitter.com/uuNZcfCSgE

It has been particularly conflicting moment for for Chelsea and Liverpool fans, who were quick to think about the benefits for their teams in the league, but then realised the implications for the national side.
When you think spurs are fucked without Kane 😆but then remember the World Cup is only a couple of months away 😣🙈
