David Moyes could very well be on his way back to the Premier League as West Ham launch move

West Ham’s board are prepared to give David Moyes the chance to redeem himself in the Premier League.

Moyes endured a tough time of it after stepping into the biggest shoes imaginable when he took over from Alex Ferguson at Manchester United at the start of last season, managing only 10 months in the Old Trafford hot-seat before being kindly shown the door.

But that has done nothing to deter West Ham from sounding out a move for the Scot as they look unlikely to offer current boss Sam Allardyce a new contract at the end of the season.

The Hammers made a tentative approach in February to lure Moyes away from current club Real Sociedad but appear to have stepped up their pursuit as they look to begin a club renaissance in the Olympic Stadium.

We all love a joke about David Moyes but, in all honesty, we’d be delighted to see him given the opportunity to show that there’s more to him than his short time at Manchester United showed.

As for West Ham fans, if you love a long ball or 80+ crosses into the box in one game, you won’t believe your bloody luck.
