Cillian Sheridan deserves endless retweets for his response to the €5 million received by the FAI

We’ve seen many an opinion on the news that the FAI received a large sum of money from Fifa to drop any legal action over the infamous Thierry Henry handball controversy

Some have been furious, some have been humorous and some have been enveloped in literal disbelief but our favourite response of the bunch comes from Irish striker and SportsJOE columnist Cillian Sheridan.

The APOEL Nicosia forward tweeted out this afternoon that he also expected a “loan” from Fifa to ease the injustice of one his goals being ruled out.

The man is as good a conveyor belt of gems.
