Chelsea should send a scout to Ajax to check out Richairo Zivkovic’s parking skills

The best punishment we've ever heard of

Evil genius

It happens to all of us. Despite your best efforts you arrive somewhere important late.

Even with our watches 10 minutes fast we still just can’t account for that granny in her Micra taking eight minutes to get out of her driveway, and every traffic light going against you.

Thankfully, in our day-to-day life we don’t face any sanction from our overlords in SportsJOE if we arrive late, but it’s a different story if you play for Ajax.

Richairo Zivkovic has been hit with possibly the weirdest punishment of all time for his lateness,as he was forced to work in the club car-park as the attendant.

The player, who signed for the club last season, had to rise early for once in his life and work the barrier for his teammates to let them in and out of the club.

His agent confirmed the punishment handed down by manager Frank de Boer

‘He has indeed been working as parking attendant because he was late again. He’s learned from it. I think the punishment came directly from coach Frank de Boer.’

He has already been fined twice this season for turning up late but it seems that De Boer could take no more last week when he once again failed to make it to work on time.

As well as being made to work in the club carpark the teenager was dropped for today’s game with Cambur.
