That's not Jose

Hype

It can be an awful burden.

It can do strange things to young men and especially footballers who may buy into the hype surrounding their growing reputation.

So let’s hope Chelsea’s new boy Joseph Colley doesn’t fall into that trap after signing for the Blues instead of Manchester United.

According to The Mirror the player has been dubbed the new ‘Paul Pogba’  and is set to officially confirm his move to London once the transfer window opens next month.

We might think that’s a lot of hype for a 16-year-old kid from Sweden, but his coach at his current club in Sweden, Brommapojkarna U19s boss Dali Savic, has no intention of dampening expectations,

“Joseph is in my opinion best best player in Sweden born since 1999. Heis a leader on the pitch and in the locker room and has good technical and tactical skills already despite his young age.

“He is strong and has excellent timing with his headers. Chelsea are signing a top young player.”

“I think JC is special and has a unique style of playing but if I have to pick one player I would say Paul Pogba.”

No pressure then after Chelsea beat Manchester United to his signing having initally approached the club about signing him in 2013, and here is his with his coach saying goodbye to his team-mates before the move to England
